FIRST Robotics Competition 

Our FRC season consists of one unified team, 8081 UMEI Lightning Robotics. This competition season will begin as of  January each new year with a whole new set of challenges for our builders, programmers, and thinkers to overcome.

FIRST Tech Challenge 

Our FTC season is the first of the FIRST challenges in the season. Our first challenge was released in September. For this set of competitions, we competed as two sets of teams, 19530, The Thunderbirds, as well as a second team, 19531, Radiant Robotics. The Thunderbirds and Radiant Robotics took first and second place respectively at the University of Windsor competition in December 2022. They finished their season very well, even competing in the provincial championships. To learn more about our achievements, click here.
